Amazing Abs on Hot Dog Eating Champ: How does he do it?

Takeru Kobayashi has made headlines for years as he's garnered a number of awards in eating contests around the world — most notably the annual hot dog-eating contest in Coney Island. And while his look has changed over the years (he's a fan of hair color changes), his abs have stayed rather impressive, considering the fact that he makes his living by overeating. This seems to go against every diet tip from every model I've ever worked with. How does he maintain the definition in his abs while throwing so much junk food down his throat?
